Srinagar: Shahre-e-Khass Coordination Committee Saturday supported the lockdown call of Fruit Mandi traders association. The committee as per a statement issued on Saturday, said that the issue for which the Fruit Mandi association has called for a lockdown pertains to every single individual of the Valley.
“The traders affiliated with the concerned business have suffered a huge loss as the stock they are getting is not able to sell in the market,” chairman of committee Nazir Ahmad Shah, President Bashir Ahmad Kenu, Senior vice president Irfan Wani and General Secretary Waseem Khan said in a statement, adding that in such a way, they are facing huge losses.
They said the administration however is acting as mute spectator, appealing the authorities to look into the matter so that the traders could heave a sigh of relief.
