Jammu: Teams of School Education Department Wednesday inspected several private educational institutes of Jammu District.
The inspection is part of department’s initiatives against those private schools against which complaints are being received by the Directorate of School Education regarding charging of excessive fee, selling of books and other stationery items and related issues.
During the inspection, the teams checked the fee structure of these private schools, implementation of orders of Jammu Kashmir Fee Fixation Committee and provisions of the rules.
Director School Education, Jammu has appealed to the parents and private schools to proceed as per the orders and instructions already in the public domain available at official website (www.schedujammu.nic.in and JKFFC (www.jkffc.in). Besides, concerned CEOs, Cluster Head Principal, HSS and ZEOs can be contacted for in case of any grievance.
