Jammu: Advisor to Governor K K Sharma Monday attended one day workshop on “Feasibility and DPR for flood mitigation and comprehensive river management measures for Tawi Basin”.
Principal Secretary, Planning Rohit Kansal, Chief Executive Officer, ERA Dr. Raghav Langer and senior officials of PHED, Irrigation & Flood Control, Disaster Management Department, Town Planning Department, UEED, Directorate of Design & Quality Control, JDA, IMD, Central Water Commission, National Institute of Hydrology, Ravi Tawi Irrigation Complex, ERA attended.
While speaking on the occasion, the Advisor emphasized on the need for better coordination between the various line department and laid stress on data sharing amongst concerned agencies for better outcome of the project.
