Srinagar: National Investigation Agency (TIA) has issued summon to JK salvation Movement chairman, Zafar Akbar Bhat, asking him to appear on Friday.
Reports said Zafar Akbar Bhat has been summoned by NIA for questioning, he has been asked to present himself before the investigators at NIA’s New Delhi head office on Friday (April 19).
NIA in February this year raided Zafar’s residence at Bagh-e-Mehtab, Srinagar and the search went on for over hours. He was questioned at Humhama and Dehli headquarters after his residence was raided.
Meanwhile, JK Salvation Movement has termed the summoning of Zafar Akbar to Delhi by NIA for questioning as ‘extremely condemnable’ and said “such attempts to weaken the “freedom struggle” of Kashmir’s are bound to fail.” Spokesman termed the summoning of Zafar Akbar to Delhi as ‘frustration’ of Government of India.
