Srinagar /April, 14 : Kashmir mainstream has stopped crying over ban on closure of Jammu-Srinagar highway this way despite cries of aspirants of Range Officer Grade I (Forest) examination over refusal of Jammu and Kashmir State Public Service Commission (J&K SPC) .

Reports said that while three former Chief ministers Farooq the Abdullah, Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti did not bother to  come out to lead protest demonstrations near Pantha Chowk on Srinagar-Jammu highway they way they led sit in protests on Wednesdays and Sundays in previous weeks, the other top mainstream leader Sajad Gani Lone also did not issue any statement against closure of the highway this week. Interestingly none of the mainstream leaders bothered to voice support to aspirants of Range Officer Grade I (Forest) examination on demand for deferment by Jammu and Kashmir State Public Service Commission (J&K SPC ) held this Sunday as per schedule. Reports said the government has diverted the attention of people and Kashmir’s mainstream leaders from highway closure to evening musical concerts at world famous  Dal Lake and opening of Mughal gardens in the heart of Srinagar city.
