Shopain/ April, 13 : Two militants were on Saturday morning killed in a brief gunfight with thegovernment forces in Gahind area of South Kashmir Shopian district
Reports said a joint of army’s 34RR and SOG launched a cordon and search operation in an orchard at Gahind area of Shopian during which militants hiding in the area opened fire on the forces trigger an brief encounter. Two militants were killed in the gunfight. A police official while confirming the killing of two militants said that the identity and affiliation of slain militants is yet to be ascertained. The search operation was continuing the area the time this reports was being filed.
