Srinagar: Ten policemen were injured after the vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident in Tragpora village of Rafiabad north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday.
Reports said that the vehicle from Dangiwicha was on way to election duty to Srinagar when the drive of the vehicle has last control on his speed at Tregpora village Rafiabad, leaving ten cops seriously wounded. Meanwhile, police sources said that all the injured cops were rescued and were shifted to District Hospital Baramulla.
However, hospital authorities identified all injured cops as Constable Bhopal, Constable Ravi Kumar, Constable Anil Kumar, Constable Mohamed Shafi, Constable Vishal Kumar, Constable Asif Yousuf, Constable Syed Tanveer, Constable Mehraj ul Din and Constable Tariq Ahmed.
