Srinagar/April, 6:National Conference Vice President and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday blamed PDP President and another former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for NIA trap against Hurriyat Conference (M) Chairman Mirwaiz Molvi Umar Farooq Nd reiterated demand for revocation of Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) the way it was revoked in Arunachal Pradesh.

Talking to reporters after addressing an election rally at Kupwara Omar Abdullah said that NIA filed an FIR against Mirwaiz Molvi Umar Farooq in 2017 when Mehbooba Mufti was Chief Minister and so she (Mehbooba) alone is responsible for the notices NIA is sending to Mirwaiz Molvi Umar Farooq. Reiterating demand for revocation of Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) Omar said AFSPA should be revoked in Jammu and Kashmir the way it was revoked in Arunachal Pradesh.

Saying that article 370 was worst hit by the implementation of Goods and Services Tax (GST) the former Chief Minister dared Mehbooba Mufti to prove that National Conference while in power has extended even one central law which has damaged Article 370.
