Jammu: Governor Satya Pal Malik and Advisor to Governor K K Sharma have in their separate statements conveyed their greetings to people on the auspicious occasion of Navratras and Navreh, and prayed for their well-being and prosperity.
In his message, Governor Satya Pal Malik observed that the Navratras have a special importance for the lakhs of pilgrims who visit the Holy Cave Shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Deviji during this holy period to seek blessings of the goddess. Governor extended warm greetings to all Kashmiri Pandits who celebrate this auspicious day as Navreh, the beginning of the New Year and the onset of Spring. He prayed that this propitious occasion will become the harbinger of harmony, brotherhood, amity, peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
