Srinagar: Few days before, Police Station Khanyar received a complaint from Mst. Raja Bano wife of Abdul Ahad Mir resident of Naidkadal wherein she stated that a theft had occurred at her house.
On this information a case FIR No. 09/19 under relevant sections of law was registered and investigation was set into motion.
During the course of investigation, two accused persons identified as Faisal Ahmad Sheikh son of Gh Rasool and Adil Ahmad Bhat son of Ali Mohammad resident of Naid Kadal Khanyar were taken into custody. On questioning, they revealed their involvement in the crime and on their disclosure stolen property was recovered.
