Srinagar: The State Taxes Department, Kashmir conducted surprise inspection in the heart of down own city area of Srinagar, where the business premises of M/s 7-Days Restaurant, opposite Jamia Masjid Nowhatta was inspected. The inspection was conducted under supervision of Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, Additional Commissioner, State Taxes (Adm. & Enf.), Kashmir which was accompanied by a team of State Tax Officers, Mr. Mukhtar Ahmad, Mr Aijaz Coudhary, Irfan Bhadur, Mohammad Muneer Ahmad, Sakhi Khan & Gh Mohiudin Malik alongwith inspectors.
The team also inspected the premises of M/S Tawheed Medical Alamgari Bazar, M/S New Mughal Darbar, Bagh-i-Ali Mardan Khan M/S Alba Retail (Favorit Store) and seized vital documents for scrutiny.
State Taxes Department, through this publication, advises the dealers to avoid using dishonest practices for evasion of tax and are directed to adhere to the provisions of the GST Act, 2017 and the rules framed there under, strictly in letter and spirit. Further they are advised to issue GST invoices for all sales failing which they shall be penalised.
