Jammu: Congress stalwart leader, Ghulam Nabi Azad addressed a party rally telephonically after his chopper was not allowed to land due to cross border firing in Lam area of Nowshera.
Official sources said that a Congress rally was scheduled at Lam Pukharni but rally venue was shifted to Darhal due to ceasefire violation.
However, at the last moment, security agencies decided not to allow landing of chopper due to intense shelling. Azad later addressed the rally telephonically and appealed people present in the rally to vote in favour of their candidate.
