Jaitley going berserk on Article 35 A for his latest aptitude of toeing Modi line: Soz

Srinagar: Alleging that union minister Arun Jaitley was going berserk on Article 35 A for his latest aptitude of toeing Modi line with his eyes shut, senior Congress leader Pror Saifuddin Soz on Saturday evening said if this articles goes, the State’s relationship with the Union will be impaired, beyond repair.
In a statement here this evening former union minister Prof Soz said “It is not without reason that Arun Jaitley has decided to go wholehog with PM Modi’s perception on political and social issues and he simply buttresses Modi’s perception, right or wrong”.
He alleged that Arun Jaitely’s belated interpretation of Article 35A of the Constitution of India evokes pity for him in people like me.
“I want to tell Arun Jaitley plainly that he has betrayed the trust of the people in his legal knowledge who understand that if this Article-35A was wrongly incorporated in the Presidential order, does he not, in the same breath, confess that all Presidential orders issued that were made part of the constitution of India, were wrong”.
All people who knew Jaitley earlier feel sad that his latest attitude on Article 35A is detestable, Prof Soz said.
He said a vast majority of the people of the State hold the view correctly that Article 35A is closely connected with the Article 370 of the Constitution of India.
“If Article 35A goes, the State’s relationship with the Union will be impaired, beyond repair”, he said.
