Doomi Malpur (Jammu): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday asserted that each and every vote this time can take Jammu and Kashmir to new heights but blamed National Conference, PDP and Congress for the current mess.
On the campaign trail, Modi blamed Congress, National Conference and Peoples Democratic Party for the situation in Jammu & Kashmir. “Indian National Congress joined hands with anti-national forces and those who supported militancy” averred Modi, addressing an election rally here in support of Bharatiya Janata Party candidate for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha constituency Jugal Kishore Sharma.
The Prime Minister said the Congress, NC & PDP were ”responsible for exodus of Kashmiri Pandits. They have lust for power and always cared for aspirations of their families because of their personal benefits, not only J&K but the entire nation faced the similar situation,” the Prime Minister said and alleged that integrity and dignity of the nation does not matter to the Opposition parties. ‘Dead wood’ Congress joined hands with those who ”supported militancy” said Modi adding that “they have no guts to take major decisions”.
