MCC violation: Two Officers suspended at Bandipora

Bandipora: District Election Officer (DEO) Bandipora has put two officers of Department of Health under suspension for violating Model Code of Conduct.
After initial investigation by Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora who is also Nodal Officer for Model Code of Conduct, it was prima-facie established that the two officers attended a political meeting that was attended by a contesting candidate which is a case of violation of MCC and misconduct under service rules on part of these officers.
DEO also directed the Additional District Development Commissioner Bandipora to conduct a detailed inquiry into the conduct of both the officers and has asked him to submit his report with the recommendation for taking further disciplinary action against them under law. Both the officers have been attached with the office of Additional District Development Commissioner Bandipora.
