Srinagar: Two youth have gone missing from Bandi Payeen area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday evening while as the families have lodged a missing report in this regard. The youth have gone missing barely six days after the gunfight at Kalantra Kandi took place.
A senior police official said that two youth identified as Mohsin Manzoor Najar son of Manzoor Ahmed Najar and Suhail Ahmed Lone both residents of Bandi Payeen are missing from the area since yesterday evening.
He said that families in this regard have registered missing report with case FIR No. 06/2019, U/S 363/RPC at Police Station Chandoosa and further investigation has been initiated. Pertinently on 21 March, two militants were killed in a gunfight and three para-troopers were injured.
