Srinagar/March 25 : Deputy Commissioner Srinagar on Monday in reply to a tweet from Omar on bad condition of roads in Srinagar city particularly the Srinagar Airport road on Monday said that funds have been released to executive agencies and work will start soon.
Replying to a tweet from Omar Abdullah a former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister on the bad condition of roads the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Shahid Iqbal Choudhary wrote “This is absolutely true and roads are indeed in bad shape since Nov last. After a detailed assessment we have provided funds to executing agencies. Tendering process under way. Work will start immediately on improvement of temperature.” in a tweet former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah had said that the condition of Srinagar Airport is worse than rural roads in Kashmir valley.
