Art 370, 35A sacred for Kashmiris, NC will safeguard interests of people: Akbar Lone

Kupwara: National Conference (NC) parliamentary candidate for Baramulla constituency, Muhammad Akbar Lone on Saturday said there is nothing more sacred than Article 370 and 35A to Kashmiris, saying that the party has always remained in the forefront to safeguard it. However, Lone held former chief minister Late Mufti Muhammad Sayeed responsible for the prevailing situation in Kashmir.
“The only relation India and Jammu and Kashmir is Article 35A and 370. If the constitutions are tempered or abrogated, then we will have no relation with the uion of India,” he said. He added that NC is committed to safeguard the interests of people and retain what is lost due to the failure of Late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed’s decisions.
Lone also said that, It was Late Mufti Sayeed who planned to destroy and cut shot the better relations of Kashmir by tampering the constitution several times. “PDP came into power as Delhi and Agencies helped them to win because PDP suited them,” he added.
