Rana announces NC campaign panels for 2 Jammu Lok Sabha seats in Jammu

Jammu/March, 23- National Conference Provincial President  Devender Singh Rana on Saturday announced in Jammu the constitution of two election campaign committees for Udhampur-Kathua and Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha Constituencies besides Campaign Coordination Committee.

Former minister and National Conference State Secretary Mr Surjeet Singh Slathia will head the Campaign Committee for 5-Udhampur-Kathua Parliamentary Constituency while the senior leader and former minister Mr Ajay Kumar Sadhotra will head the panel for 6-Jammu-Poonch Constituency. The Campaign Coordination Committee will be headed by the State Secretary Mr Rattan Lal Gupta.

The campaign committees will coordinate with Mr Vikramaditya Singh and Mr Raman Bhalla, the two Congress candidates respectively for Udhampur-Kathua and Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seats.

The 32-Member Campaign Committee for the 5-Udhampur-Kathua Parliamentary Constituency, headed by Mr Surjeet Singh Slathia, will comprise Khalid Najeeb Suharwardy, Mr Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, Sheikh Abdul Rehman, Th Kashmira Singh, Mr Brij Mohan Sharma, Mr Abdul Gani Malik, Mr Jagjeevan Lal, Mr Iqbal Bhat,  Mr Ab Wahid Shan, Dr Chaman Lal Bhagat, Mr Sajjad Shaheen, Mr Ajit Kumar Sharma, Mr Tanveer Kichloo, Mr Romi Khajuria, Mr Dhian Chand, Mr Sagar Chand, Dr Shahshad Shan, Mr Prem Sagar Aziz, Mr K K Bakshi, Mr Dharam Pal Kundal, Mr Bharti Sharma, Mr Qasim Din Bania, Mr Pyare Lal Sharma, Mrs Pushpa Dogra, Mr Raj Kapoor, Mr Zafar ullah Rathar, Mr Riaz Bhaderwahi, Syed Asgar Ali, Mr Mehboob Iqbal, Ch Salam Din, Mr Vijay Lochan and Mr Abdul Gani Teli as its members.

The 45-committee for 6-Jammu-Poonch led by Mr Ajay Kumar Sadhotra will include Mr Surjeet Singh Slathia,  S Harbans Singh, Mirza Abdul Rashid, Babu Rampal, Syed Mushtaq Ahmed Bukhari, Th Rachpal Singh, Mr Ajaz Jan, Mr Javed Rana, Dr Kamal Arora, S Tarlochan Singh Wazir, Haji Mohammed Hussain, Master Noor Hussain, Mr Vijay Bakaya,  Mrs Bimla Luthra, Mrs Vijay Lakshmi Dutta, Mr Deepender Kour, Mr Rahim Daad, Qazi Mohd Syed Beig, Mr Bagh Hussain Rathore, Mr Wali Daad,  Mr Ikhlaq Khan, Mr Jugal Mahajan, Mr Guirdeep Singh Sasan, Mr S S Bunty, Mr Israr Khan, Mr Shafayat Khan, Mr Vipan Lal Sharma, Mr Bhushan Uppal, Ch. Liaqa Ali Advocate, Mr Som Nath Khajuria, Ch Haroon, Mr Dharamveer Singh Jamwal, Mr B R Kundal, Dr Gagan Bhagat, Mrs Swaran Lata, Mrs Dilshad Malik, Mrs Rita Gupta, Mr Mohinder Singh, Dr Gafoor, Mr Naresh Bittu, Mr Abdul Gani Teli,Mr Vijay Lochan, Mr Daljeet Singh and Mr Nar Singh as its members.

          The 4-Member Campaign Coordination Committee for the Jammu-Poonch and Udhampur Kathua Parliamentary Constituencies will be headed by State Secretary Mr Rattan Lal Gupta and will have Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, Mr Anil Dhar and Mr Pradeep Bali as its members.

              According to a spokesman of the party, all the district and block National Conference committees will function as the election committees for the parliamentary elections.
