Jammu: Advisor to Governor, KK Sharma has extended greetings to people on the festival of ‘Holi” and “Nauroz”.
In his message of felicitations, the Advisor hoped that the festival of colors will bring peace and prosperity in the state.
He said the celebration of festivals is an important part of our social and cultural milieu which strengthens the bonds of brotherhood and amity.
In a separate message on the eve of “Nauroz” the Advisor observed that this festival has important cultural and religious significance. He appealed people to plant trees on the day as per tradition to safeguard the ecology and environment.He further hoped that it would be the harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
