Pulwama, March 19 : Government forces arrested over half a dozen youth during nocturnal raids in the night intervening Monday and Tuesday in Drabgam village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Reports said contingents of government forces in the night intervening Monday and Tuesday laid a cordon and search operation Drabgam village and adjoining areas in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district and arrested over half a dozen youth after asking the residents he villagers were ordered to come out of their houses and stand in queues for identification parades.
Some of detained youth have been identified as Ashraf Khan, Irfan Javid, Muzamil Ahmed, Khursheed Ahmad, Imran Ahmed and Ishfaq Ahmad. A police official saidthat the youth were detained on charges of stone pelting.
