Srinagar: A civilian was Monday shot dead by suspected militants in Reshiepora area of Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Sources said that a civilian identified as Mohsin Ahmed Wani, 25, son of Ghulam Ahmad Wani was shot at by the suspected militants outside his home in reshiepora, left him critically wounded.
The injured civilian was shifted to nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead, they said. A police official while confirming the incident said that area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
The slain civilian as per the reports was working as a labourer. His body was taken to a nearby hospital for legal medico formalities.
