Jammu: Chairman Chenani Municipal Committee Manik Gupta along with councillors Friday called on the Advisor to Governor, Kewal Kumar Sharma and discussed several issues related to development of the Chenani Municipal area and also the working of the Committee.
The deputation projected several issues of the committee like providing of hopper machines for quick disposal of the solid wastes in the area, release of balance funds for under construction community hall, improving educational infra in the area, besides providing land for construction of parking facility and undertaking work on the proposed circular road of the area.
The Advisor discussed the Solid Waste Management Program being implemented and also the working of the committee. He said the issues projected by the MC Chenani would be looked into.
A deputation of the care takers of the persons injured in the recent blast at bus stand also called on the Advisor and demanded free medical assistance till the victims fully recover.
The Advisor assured the deputation that the Governors Administration will provide all the requisite medical assistance and other related things till the bus stand blast victims fully recover.
