Poonch: Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) Poonch which is the operational center of cross LoC trade came under intense mortar shelling on Wednesday afternoon with a number of shells landed in the compound from where cross LoC trade is run across LoC.
Sources said that Pak fired mortar shells landed inside the compound smoke engulfed the site. They said that the shells landed in the compound of trade centre buildings spreading panic in the area. Meanwhile, officials said that trade was suspended urgently soon after TFC came under shelling.
They added that there is some loss of property but no loss of life has yet been reported.
