Kupwara /March, 12 : A snow blizzard hit to death hree persons near Khoni Nallah in Sadhna Top area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
A police official said six persons were moving by foot from Kupwara to Karnah when the blizzard hit three of them to death. “Three persons managed to reach Sahna top despite the blizzard and soon after reaching there they informed the army about their three missing companions,” the official said.
He said that an army party reached near Khoni Nallah and found out bodies of the three persons lying on the road at around 3. 00 A. M. The road from Kupwara to Karnah has been closed for traffic movement due to bad weather.
The official identified the deceased as Tahir Khoja son of Youns Khoja resident of Hajinard Karnah, Khaliq Shiekh son of Qadir Shiekh resident of Hajinard of Karnah, Fareed Ahmad son of Lal-din resident Shamspora of Karnah.
