Outgoing ADGP Armed A K Choudhary gets Warm send off at Police Officers mess Ghandhinagar Jammu

Jammu: A.K Choudhary-IPS ADGP was accorded a warm farewell today at Police Officers’ Mess Gulshan Ground Jammu after he relinquished the charge of ADGP Armed J&K on February 26.
The function was organized by the Gazetted Officers of Jammu based JKAP/ IRP Battalions / Establishments in the Honour of A.K Choudhary on his transfer from Armed Zone vide J&K Govt. order No.188-Home of 2019 dated 23.02.2019.
S.J.M.Gillani who took over as ADGP Armed J&K on February 26, 2019 was also accorded warm welcome by the Senior Officers and Commandants of Jammu based JKAP/ IRP Battalions on the occasion.
SSP and DySsP of Jammu based Armed Police establishments who were recently transferred to other wings were also bid farewell on the occasion.
While appreciating the functioning of officers of Armed Police, A.K Choudhary said that he was fortunate enough to have a team of good officers with him during his tenure in Armed Police which make it possible for him to do justice with all his official commitments. S.J.M.Gillani ADGP Armed J&K while addressing the function said that he is lucky to take over the charge of ADGP Armed from such an experienced, talented, straightforward and dynamic officer.
Earlier, Shalinder Mishra SSP Commandant IRP-7th Bn. while presenting the welcome address highlighted various noticeable and inspiring factors of leadership of outgoing ADGP Armed A.K Choudhary and incoming ADGP Armed S.J.M.Gillani.
The galaxy of Officers present on the occasion include Danesh Rana IGP AP/ IR Jammu Zone, Mehmood Ahmad SSP Staff Officer to ADGP Armed, Dushyant Sharma Staff Officer (Sports) APHQ, CPO APHQ, DySP Pers APHQ, DySP Sports APHQ, Commandants and DySsP of Jammu based AP/ IR Battalions. On the occasion memento was presented to A.K Choudhary.
