Rajouri: Ceasefire violation was witnessed in Nowshehra and Krishna Ghati area along Line of Control by Pakistan Army, officials said on Tuesday.
Pakistan army resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation by heavy shelling with mortars and firing of small arms along LoC in Nowshera Baba Khori and Krishna Ghati Poonch this afternoon, officials said.
They added the Army retaliated effectively after ceasefire. Officials added the intense shelling was going on at Nowshera (Kalal, Baba Khori, Kalsian, Jhanger), Rajouri (Tarkundi forward), Balakote, KG Mankote. Officials said Pakistan is violating ceasefire frequently from last couple of days.
Earlier, during intervening night of Monday-Tuesday, authorities claimed to have struck Jaish-e-Muhammad’s biggest camp and said “many militants including trainers, and others were killed.”
