PM KISAN awareness prog held at Ramban

Ramban: District Development Commissioner, Ramban Showkat Aijaz Bhat Monday preside over an awareness program on PM KISAN Samman Nidhi held at the district headquarter.
ADDC, Chief Agriculture Officer , SDAO Gool, AEO, AEA’s, and officers of allied departments besides large number of farmers attended the program.
DDC complimented the Department of Agriculture for its efforts in making the scheme operational through timely registration of eligible farmers in the shortest possible time. He advised the farmers to act as messenger for other farmers of the area so that maximum farmers can avail the benefit of the scheme. He also interacted with the prominent farmers to take stoch of hardships faced by them.
Officers from Agriculture department gave brief account of other schemes being operated by the Department for benefit of the farming community.
Later, Chief Agriculture Officer threw light light on various schemes of the department envisaging socio economic empowerment of farmers community.
