JK bags ‘SKOCH-Order-of Merit’ award

New Delhi: The J&K State Health Agency, Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) was conferred ‘SKOCH-Order-of Merit Award’ which was received by Principal Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department, Atal Dulloo in Swasth Bharat category for “Innovative Implementation of Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana in J&K State”.

The award was conferred at the 56th SKOCH Summit held here Monday.

State Health Agency has been successful in generating more than 10 Lakh Golden Cards by way of effective mobilization of beneficiaries through comprehensive IEC campaign, multi-sectoral approach, strengthening & utilizing the services of vast network of Common Service Centres etc within the first 90 days of the launch of AB-PMJAY in the state.

More than 150 health facilities across the state have been empanelled for effective provision of services to the entitled beneficiaries.  Till date more than 2500 beneficiaries have availed benefits under AB-PMJAY in different empanelled health facilities across the state. Bhupinder Kumar, CEO and other officers of State Health Agency AB-PMJAY, J&K were also present on the occasion.
