Jammu: Advisor to Governor, K. K. Sharma, has expressed grief over the death of Deputy Superintendent of Police Aman Thakur who laid his life in a counter-insurgency operation in Turigam area of Kulgam district.
In his condolence message, Sharma while conveying his deep sympathies to the bereaved family said the sacrifice rendered by the duty-bound brave officer would be remembered for times immemorial.
He also prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear the immense loss.
The Advisor also expressed grief over the loss of life of Army Jawan who laid his life in the line of duty alongside DSP Thakur and conveyed his sympathies to the Jawan’s family.
The Advisor also prayed for early recovery of the security personnel injured in the Kulgam gunfight.
