Srinagar: Srinagar police in order to strengthen the bond with public organized a police Public meeting which was held at Police Station Harwan. The meeting was chaired by SHO Harwan Shri Zafar Iqbal.
Respectable citizens of the area including trade leaders, transport heads, representatives of Harwan Development Forum, representatives of FAK citizens development forum and Mohalla heads of the all the 32 villages falling under its jurisdiction participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, participants put forth various grievances of public importance. The chairing officer assured them that issues pertaining to police will be redressed shortly and issues pertaining to other departments will be taken up with the concerned for their early redressal.
