Younis Ahad

My village was prosperous, it was beautiful in every sphere, there Peace, brotherhood, stability and certainty among different faiths. People had no idea about conflicts everyone was making earnings in the stable way, recounted a man to his colleague: the man while recounting his sorrowful story said that once suddenly my village lost its glory due to continuous conflict with a neighbour village, some unscrupulous elements instigated people to wage a war against them, teach them a lesson. People heeded the same and undertook the battle but unfortunately both villages were razed to ground, it a fierce war recounted the man, tears rolling down over his cheeks. The colleague asked him surprisingly, you could have resorted to peaceful means, the man vociferously said people were not ready to accept that lamented the man.
Yes, I want to draw your attention towards the war mongering attitude between India and Pakistan. First of all I want to condemn this horrific attack on the men in uniform that was really regrettable because human lives are precious they are subjected to respect. Humanity is a religion to all humans, every human is supposed to follow the doctrine and foot prints of humanity. But at the same time I also condemn the assaults on the innocent kashmiries putting up in different parts of India, some of them are studying and some are busy in making their livelihood how can a labourer abet this attack? Every Kashmiri can’t be blamed for this misfortune, we the Indians have right rather an absolute right to bring the perpetrators of this attack to justice. If this trend viz harassing kashmiris continues I do think India will completely lost the kashmir, the another reprehensible part of this unfortunate store is jammu violence, to be clearer every jammunities is not hate monger, attempts were made to break up the historic brotherhood and unity between Kashmir and jammu by some hell bent elements. It was painful to see some arsonists who set the kashmiri vehicles on fire and asked the kashmiris to leave the Jammu.
India-Pakistan Story…
Pulwama attack further revved up the rivalry between India and Pakistan. India in an angry mood blames Pakistan but Pakistan denies its involvement. India threatens war even atmosphere is such everyone believes war is the only option. Media has already started this battle through debates and discussion further adding fuel to fire rather putting perspectives which can be helpful. Blood of revenge is faster circulating. The BJP Government has stated to the people that enemy won’t be spared, it has to pay off. Pakistan is making counter threats… to make it short, a nuclear war it it happens there will have stories in the books about the existence of India and Pakistan. Pakistan Premier Imran khan in his recently speech has extended the hand for dialogue, cooperation which is a good gesture. However India has rejected has rejected the offer. It is pertinent to mention that Talibaan who fought for seventeen years has ultimately agreed to hold negotiations they came to know that nothing can be achieved by war. Secondly war is going on in Afghanistan but still dialogue is carried on, lessons to be learnt.
Key Solutions…
I am anguished to watch the visuals being displayed on T V channels showing mothers are wailing who lost their lives in pulwama blast, am anguished kashmiri are being harassed for no faults. It is high time for India to take kashmiri into their confidence. India need to treat kashmiris as their own people by doing so faith in Indian democracy can gain momentum for kashmiries, Central Government is bound to issue strict warnings to those eho harass the innocent kashmiries. India Government must build up a censuses with regard to kashmir issue, it must look for ways to resolve it. It ought to permit the saner voices who are advocating peace in the valley. The recent human rights violations report by UN is unfortunate for India, it should ponder over the report. Lastly war with Pakistan is not a viable option but instead both countries can negotiate in a peaceful atmosphere to end violence, three wars could not yield anything how can another one? So time is ripe to let peace prevailing.
