DC Shopian reviews implementation of PM-KSN

Shopian: In order to review the implementation of farmers support program, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KSN) scheme Deputy Commissioner Shopian Dr Owais Ahmad Thursday convened a meeting of officers here at Mini Secretariat Arhama Shopian.
During the meeting, the DC sought Tehsil wise detailed information regarding various aspects of the scheme including, uploading of beneficiaries data, activation of beneficiaries accounts, preparation of list of exclusive categories, collection of Data and organization of camps etc
On the occasion, DC said the main objective of the scheme is to provide financial help to small marginal farmers and same will be credited after due verification by Revenue, Agriculture, Horticulture department and by other block level offices. He stressed upon the Tehsildars and other concerned officials to expedite the pace of work, so that complete beneficiary list can be formulated within due course of time.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Assistant Commissioner Development, Chief Agriculture officer, Tehsildars, Block Development Officers, District Informatics officer and other concerned officials.
