Pulwama: At least 16 students were injured in a mysterious blast at a school here in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.
Reports said that students at Falahi-i-Milat School located in Narbal Kakapora Pulwama were busy in taking private classes at Falahi-e-Milat School when a mysterious blast created panic there.
Reports added that at least 16 students sustained injuries who were immediately shifted to hospital. The blast created panic in the area while locals rushed to school to shift the injured into the hospital.
SSP Pulwama Chandan Kohli said that they have registered an FIR and investigating the facts. “A total number of 16 students have suffered injuries out of which 10 have shifted to Srinagar,” he said and added that all the injured are stable.
Reports said that locals clashed with police after the blast while Forces retaliated with tear-gas shelling.
Yesterday, a boy Suhail Ahmed was killed in a mysterious blast at a shop in Andharhama Kupwara. In Pulwama Rohmu, another kid Junaid Ahmed was killed when he along with his friend was toying with an explosive substance.
