Pulwama/Feb, 12 : Two army man and one militant were on Tuesday morning killed in a gunfight in Ratnipora village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama District.
Police said that the body of militant killed in the gunfught was recovered from the site, adding that the two of the three army men injured in the gunfight succumbed at the medical facility.
Two army army men killed in the gunfight have been identified as Havaldar Baljeet of 50RR and Naik Saneed of 10 Para of army were killed and the third army man identified as Chanderpal of 50RR is undergoing treatment and his condition is stated to be stable at army’s 92 Base Hospital Srinagar.
The gunfight started after government forces including 50 RR cordoned off area on specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
