Legal awareness program on Drug Abuse, Environment held in Jammu

Jammu: A Legal awareness program was held at Government Higher Secondary School Bhalwal on Drug Abuse and Environment.
Secretary District Legal Services Authority Jammu Naushad Ahmed Khan, enlightened the students about the ill effects of Drug Abuse besides elaborating on the importance of environmental conservation.
Besides, resource persons including Dr. Mamta Sharma, Dr. Kapil Sharma of Sub District Hospital Kot Bhalawl and Advocate Jyoti Sharma (Master Trainer) educated the participants about the impact and consequences of the menace of drug abuse besides highlighting the significance of protection and preservation of environment.
Later, an interactive session was organised in which the queries raised by the students were answered by the Principal, faculty members, and the resource persons.
Kamal Kiran, Lecturer Environmental Sciences gave detailed information with regard to protecting of the environment.
On the occasion, the students and other participants took a pledge to further spread the message of ill effects of drug abuse and saving of the environment.
