License of medical firm suspended at Rajouri

Rajouri: A team of officers and officials of Drugs and Controller Rajouri was constituted to carry out Surprise Supervisory checks of Retails/ wholesale outlets of medicines.
During the drive inspections were carried out in District Hospital Rajouri by empowered Authorities under supervision of Surinder Mohan , Assistant Controller Drugs Rajouri action against one firm was carried under section 22nd of Drugs and cosmetic Act 1940 and rules there of Ganesh medical Agency.
Operation of the above firm was disallowed onspot and license of firm was suspended for violation of the provision of the Act. Show cause notice was issued to M/s Sky medicose.
Moreover Statutory Drugs Samples of more than 10 formulation viz Antibiotics PPI Antibiotics abtipyratics NSAID etc were drawn for test /analysis to identity strength and purity of these drugs, these Samples have been referred to state Drugs Testing Laboratories for legal.
Directions were also issued to the traders to desist from indulging in unethical trade practice and to improve storage conditions to preserve the properties of drugs their shelf life.
