KNS Chief Editor’s father laid to rest, people in large number attend funeral prayers

Srinagar: The Kashmir News Service Chief Editor’s father Haji Mohammad Subhan Bhat who passed away on Tuesday evening was on Wednesday laid to rest in Shehlal village of Handwara area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
People in large number including local, social and religious leaders participated in the funeral prayers of the deceased on Wednesday morning.
Eye-witness said among people who attended the funeral prayers of KNS Chief Editor’s father Mohammad Subhan Bhat include political leaders, senior officials of the civil and police administration, members of civil society, academicians and lawyers.
The participants prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul and also for the courage to the bereaved family.
Many political leaders and top officers visited the bereaved family throughout the day and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family.
The death of Haji Mohammad Subhan Bhat, father of KNS Editor-in-Chief Mohammad Aslam Bhat was widely mourned and condolences continue to pour in from people of all walks of life from all parts of the state to KNS Chief Editor and his bereaved family.

Azad condoles demise
Former Chief Minister JK and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha,, Ghulam Nabi Azad has condoled with Muhammad Aslam Bhat, Editor-in-Chief, Kashmir News Service over the demise of his father Haji Muhammad Subhan Bhat who passed away Tuesday evening at Handwara in Kupwara district.
In a condolence message, Shri. Azad has extended his heart-felt sympathies to Mr. Aslam and other members of the bereaved family over the irreparable loss.
Among others Senior Congress Leaders including Ghulam Mohammad Saroori, Mohammed Sharief Niaz, Abdul Majid Wani, Vikar Rasool Wani, Naresh Kumar, Sham Lal Bhagat, Ashok Kumar and others have also condoles the demise of Mohammad Subhan Bhat.

Advisor (G) condoles
Advisor to the Governor, Khurshid Ahmed Ganai, has condoled with Muhammad Aslam Bhat, Editor-in-Chief, Kashmir News Service over the demise of his father Haji Muhammad Subhan Bhat who passed away Tuesday evening at Handwara in Kupwara district.
In a message, the Advisor has extended his heart-felt sympathies to Aslam and other members of the bereaved family over the irreparable loss.

JKPCC condoles demise
Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) condoled the demise of Haji Mohd Subhan Bhat, father of KNS head Mohd Aslam Bhat and conveyed deepest condolences to bereaved family.
In a condolence message, JKPCC President, Ghulam Ahmad Mir expressed profound grief over the passing away of Haji Mohd Subhan Bhat and conveyed his deepest condolences Mohd Aslam Bhat and other members of the bereaved family.
He described the deceased as a noble soul and prayed for his eternal peace.
Expressing solidarity with the KNS head, Mir also sympathized with the bereaved family and prayed for their courage to bear this irreparable loss.
The rank and file of the JKPCC also conveyed their deepest condolences to KNS and prayed for eternal peace to Late Haji Mohd Subhan Bhat.

PDP expresses grief
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Vice President, Abdul Rehman Veeri has condoled the demise of the father of KNS Editor in Chief Muhammad Aslam Bhat.
In his message, Veeri has prayed for the peace of the departed soul and conveyed heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved KNS Editor in Chief and the whole family.
Haji Muhammad Subhan Bhat, father of KNS Editor in Chief passed away on Tuesday evening at his home in Shehlal, Handwara in Kupwara district.

Secy Information, Director condole with Aslam
Secretary Information, Sarmad Hafeez has condoled the demise of father of Muhammad Aslam Bhat, Editor-in-Chief Kashmir News Service .
In his condolence message, Hafeez while extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family has prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Meanwhile, Director Information, Tariq Ahmad Zargar has also offered his condolences to Muhammad Aslam over the demise of his father and has prayed for peace to the departed soul.

Tariq Karra saddened by demise
Saddened by the demise of Haji Mohammed Subhan Bhat, father of KNS editor-in-chief Mohammed Aslam Bhat, Congress Working Committee (CWC) member, Tariq Hameed Karra has prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul.
Karra as per a statement issued S also prayed to the Almighty for giving strength to the family so that they are able to bear the loss.
“The deceased was noble soul and was adhering to Soum -o -Salaat till his last despite battling for life for a long time, and I know it personally that Mohammad Aslam despite having professional pressures dedicated himself to his father for his health,” Karra said.

Tarigami grieved
Expressing grief over the demise of Muhammad Subhan Bhat, father of KNS Editor-in-Chief, Muhammad Aslam Bhat, CPI (M) leader Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami on Wednesday extended sympathies with the bereaved family.
Tarigami extended his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family especially with KNS Editor-in-Chief Muhammad Aslam Bhat. He termed the deceased as kind and pious soul and said, “I equally share the pain of bereaved family at this hour of grief.”

Monga condoles demise
Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Committee (JKPCC) Vice President and former MLC G N Monga has condoled demise of Haji Muhammad Subhan Bhat father of KNS Chief Editor Muhammad Aslam Bhat and Ghulam Hassan Zahid younger brother of columnist and writer Z G Mohammad.
While conveying his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, he prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased.

JKANC expresses sorrow
Jammu Kashmir Awami National Conference (JKANC) President, Begum Khalida Shah and party’s Senior Vice President Muzaffar Shah have expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Haji Mohammad Subhan Bhat.
In a statement issued, Begum Khalida Shah and Muzaffar Shah expressed heartfelt condolence and solidarity with Mohammad Aslam Sahib and the bereaved family.
JKANC also organised a condolence meet at its office and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and forbearance to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.

Bilal Lone prays for eternal peace to departed soul
Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Independent Movement (JKPIM) president, Bilal Gani Lone on Wednesday condoled the demise of Muhammad Subhan Bhat, father of KNS Editor-in-Chief, Muhammad Aslam Bhat.
Lone expressed grief over the demise of Muhammad Subhan Bhat and also prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul.
JKPIM president also extended his condolence to the bereaved family especially to Muhammad Aslam Bhat and prayed for their courage to bear this irreparable loss.

Qaiser Lone expresses grieved
Senior National Conference (NC) leader and MLC Qaiser Jamsheed Lone also expressed deep grief on the demise of Haji Muhammad Subhan Bhat.
Lone while expressing his solidarity with bereaved family, prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and patience to the bereaved family to bear this unbearable loss.

JDIK condoles with Aslam
Joint Director Information Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Hakak Wednesday expressed grief over the demise of Muhammad Subhan Bhat, father of KNS Editor-in-Chief, Muhammad Aslam Bhat.
While extending condolences to the bereaved family, Hakak prayed for peace to the soul of departed and strength to the grief-stricken family.

Farooq Peer condoles with Aslam
Director Academics Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education Dr Farooq Ahmad Peer has expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Haji Mohammad Subhan Bhat, the father of Kashmir News Service editor-in-chief Mohammad Aslam Bhat, who passed away on Tuesday evening at his Handwara residence.
In a statement issued, Dr Farooq Peer expressed heartfelt condolence and solidarity with Mohammad Aslam Sahib and the bereaved family.
