Srinagar: A class 7th student who sustained injuries along with his friend in a blast last week succumbed to his injuries in Srinagar hospital on Wednesday.
Two kids Junaid Bilal and Sharafat Bashir, were injured while fiddling with the explosive device when it went off near Rohama village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Both were shifted to SKIMS Srinagar for advanced treatment.
The duo had sustained injuries when they were fiddling with an explosive substance that apparently was a grenade.
A doctor at SKIMS said that Junaid who had serious head injuries succumbed to his injuries. “We couldn’t save the boy as he had received multiple serious head injuries,” said the doctor.
