Srinagar/Feb, 7: Following fresh snowfall in Kashmir valley and incessant rains in Jammu the flight operations were on Thursday suspended at Srinagar International Airport
Authorities overseeing the flight operations to announce the suspension of flights as they in a tweet said “due to bad weather and heavy snowfall at Srinagar Airport all flights are cancelled for today,” the airport authorities announced on Twitter.
An eye witness said snow clearance on the runway was getting hampered by continuing snowfall.
The Jammu-Srinagar highway remained closed for the second consecutive day on Thursday due to fresh snowfall and landslides.
