Srinagar: A fresh warning for heavy to very heavy snowfall and rain has been issued on Monday evening in the Jammu and Kashmir as a Western Disturbance (WD) will affect the State from Tuesday till February 7, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan said.
According to the Divisional Commissioner, the weather warning issued by the Indian Metrological Centre, Srinagar the WD is likely affect Jammu and Kashmir from February 5 to 7, 2019. Moderate to heavy snow and rain is expected on Tuesday afternoon, in South Kashmir, Pirpanjal Range (Doda, Batote, Badeewah, Ramban, Banihal and Baramulla) including Jawahar Tunnel and increase in intensity and distribution thereafter, a statement said.
