The PDP spokesman in a statement that the inclement weather, closure of Jammu- Srinagar National Highway and sky rocketing air fares have put thousands of aspirants from Kashmir Valley in dire straits. He said that the government must step in without further delay to address the situation and take requisite measures. “We urge the Governor administration to provide preferential seats in flights and helicopter services to the aspirants from Kashmir valley so that they can appear in the exam on time and do not miss the opportunity which is going to play a very vital role in shaping their career ahead,” said the PDP spokesman.
He added the since the exams can neither be cancelled nor postponed, it is high time for the administration to clear the decks and ensure that the aspirants from Kashmir do not miss the opportunity.
