Jammu: Vibodh Gupta, MLC J&K, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here Friday.
Gupta expressed gratitude to Governor for granting 3 % reservation to Paharis and apprised him about plight of displaced POJK families settled outside the State and requested for treating them at par with POJK refugees settled in the State; demanded new Degree Colleges for Taryath, Darhal, Dangri and Manjakote in Rajouri; promotion of tourism in the area; regularisation of coal mine workers of Kalakote; restoration of helicopter services for Rajouri; Rajouri Municipal Committee be upgraded to Municipal Council and various other issues of public importance.
Governor urged Gupta to work devotedly for public welfare and development of his area.
