The stranded passengers, which included women, children and the elderly as well, staged a protest at general bus stand Jammu.
The nearly 300-km long strategic Srinagar-Jammu highway remained closed for fifth straight day on Friday due to snowfall and landslides at various places.
Traffic authorities overseeing the movement of traffic on Srinagar-Jammu have said more than 800 people remained stranded due to the closure of the highway.
