Custodian General inspects evacuee properties in Jammu city

Jammu: Custodian General, Farooq Ahmad Shah (Bukhari) Friday conducted a detailed inspection of various evacuee properties in Jammu city.
The Custodian General was accompanied by Custodian Evacuee Property Jammu, Deputy Custodian Central, Deputy Custodian (Legal), Deputy Custodian (HQ) Jammu and other concerned.
During the inspection, Shah visited various evacuee property sites in Jammu City and took serious note of the encroachments and violations made by people in general and tenants in particular viz a viz these properties. He asked the Custodian Evacuee Property Jammu to take note of these violations and proceed against the guilty accordingly.
The Custodian General observed that number plates previously fixed on evacuee property houses/flats/BCs and shops have been removed by the allottees and directed to fix the number plates on each evacuee property in Jammu City within a week’s time.
Further directions were also issued to the field functionaries to keep vigil so that no illegal construction takes place and the same is immediately reported to the Custodian Evacuee Property Jammu.
The Custodian General said stern action as warranted under the law shall be taken against the concerned delinquent officers/officials for dereliction of duties.
Later, he also conducted inspection of Banquet/Marriage Hall at Udheywala and directed the incharge Marriage Hall to quality best services to the customers.
