Srinsgar/Jan, 24: The Jammu-Srinagar highway continues to remain closed on Thursday for the fourth consecutive day even after the road clearance teams removed the avalanche that hit the Jawahar tunnel few days back
. Traffic officials overseeing the movement of traffic on Srinagar-Jammu highway said keeping in view the slippery condition of the road the traffic won’t be allowed yet and any decision to resume the traffic movement after reviewing the condition of the road in Banihal and Ramban areas later in the day.
Intending travellers have been advised not to undertake the journey without contacting the control rooms in Jammu and Srinagar.
