Srinagar: Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Tuesday said there was ‘no let in killings and persecution of Kashmiris by the government forces.’
Mirwaiz took to Twitter to condemn the militant killings in two gunfights since yesterday and injury to Habba Kadal boy besides an assault on photojournalists in Shopian by the government forces.
“No let-up in killings and persecution of Kashmiri’s especially the young by Indian forces as six young armed boys martyred since yesterday while unarmed Mohd Younis grievously injured in head with stones thrown at him and photojournalists covering protests showered with pellets!” Mirwaiz tweeted.
