Jammu/Jan, 16: Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik on Wednesday said that his offer to Hurriyat on sharing information over alleged atrocities has no political implications saying ‘I fully support police, paramilitaries and army’ but simultaneously am ready to take calls on allegations of atrocities from civilians and even Hurriyat Conference.
Talking to an online news portal Governor said ‘My offer to Hurriyat to let me know about the alleged atrocities has no political implications and is not part of any dialogue initiative’.
Saying that he fully supports army, paramilitaries and police on their actions against the militant the Governor said ‘however I am always available to people and even to Hurriyat leaders for taking their calls on allegations of atrocities against the forces’ . He assured that a prompt action will be taken against the guilty if allegations of atrocities from any quarter are proved by inquiry
