Srinagar: The Enforcement squad of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Thursday recovered Rs 8100 fine from 21 shopkeepers for violating the Essential Commodities Act, 1955.
As per an official handout issued here, a market checking squad headed by Assistant Director Enforcement North and South zones inspected 78 business establishments in Hawal, Kak-Sarai, Karan Nagar, Bemina, Batamallo, Balagarden and adjoining areas in the Srinagar City and fined the erring traders.
