Jammu: Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of Waqf Development Committee, Ministry of Minority Affairs met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here Thursday.
Dr. Andrabi discussed various issues relating to public welfare, women empowerment, working of the State Waqf Board and condition of Shrines under the control of the Board.
Governor assured Dr. Andrabi that all these important matters would be given due consideration and urged her to continue sustained endeavours towards ensuring Public welfare and restoration of peace and normalcy in the State.
